1. Find a quiet place.

2. Ideally, go outside, or look out a window.

3. Silence your phone—or better yet, turn it off.

5. Read the Opening Prayer, either silently or aloud.

6. Take a moment to observe your surroundings. Watch the wind, notice a bird, listen to traffic, or hear the people around you—just listen.

7. Take ten slow, deep breaths.

8. When you feel ready, read the Closing Prayer, either silently or aloud.

There is One Power,

A Power for Good,

A Seed of this Power is within me.

It is a transcendent Spark,

I was born with it,

It will always be a part of me.
