Eric Mowery, PCC
I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Earning this credential was a significant achievement, reflecting my dedication to providing high-quality, ethical coaching that creates a safe, supportive environment for clients. With 10 years as a professional landscaper and over 20 years of experience in the tech industry, including time at Microsoft (9 years) and Amazon (4 years), I use my diverse background to guide clients toward their best lives.
Transitioning from blue-collar work to tech in my 30s taught me invaluable lessons about imposter syndrome, boundaries, saying “no” gracefully, servant leadership and redefining productivity—insights I now draw upon to help clients navigate personal and professional challenges. I incorporate tools like Needs-Based Awareness (NBA), Emotional Intelligence, and elements of Nonviolent Communication aka Collaborative Communication (NVC) to empower you beyond our sessions, ensuring growth and clarity throughout your journey.
My approach is client-centered, keeping your needs, goals, and values at the forefront. I believe in the power of authentic connection, deep listening, and creating a safe space where you can openly explore your challenges without judgment. I work with a diverse range of clients navigating work/life balance, career transitions, and management issues. Together, we’ll identify patterns, set meaningful goals, and explore new perspectives that align with your chosen path.
I am committed to continuous learning and bringing the best of what I discover to my coaching practice, ensuring that each session is purposeful, engaging, and valuable for you. Whether you’re seeking to enhance your career, improve relationships, or find more balance in life, my goal is to help you reach your highest potential and move confidently toward your desired outcomes.
Let’s work together to unlock your strengths, overcome challenges, and build the life and career you envision.
Holistic Coaching
Through tailored strategies, we will explore ways to manage stress, increase mindfulness, and incorporate physical activity into your routine, even amidst a busy workday. By learning to balance your health with your career, you’ll find renewed energy and focus that will empower both you and your team to thrive.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT 2005), I integrate health coaching into leadership development to offer a comprehensive approach to well-being. In today’s tech-heavy work environments, especially for those spending long hours sitting in front of a computer, screen burnout, stress from constant production cycles, and tight deadlines can take a toll on both physical and mental health. Our coaching sessions can focus on addressing these challenges by cultivating sustainable wellness practices that not only enhance personal health but also fuel professional vitality.
Tailored to Your Needs:
I have met with clients in their corporate offices, while walking around a local city lake, and online. The topics clients bring to sessions are diverse and varied.
Growing up on a farm and now with 30 years of experience living and working in Seattle’s urban neighborhoods, I’ve seen and heard a great deal.
While I may not have heard everything, very little surprises me. Whatever you bring, we can explore it, create a plan, and move forward together.
If you know what your current challenge is, we can dive right in.
If you’re still finding the words to express what you seek, we’ll get there together with ease, humor, and empathy.

ICF Code of Ethics
I am an ICF trained and PCC credentialed professional coach. I take seriously and work by the code of ethics developed by our professional organization and find all of them are required in setting a clear coaching agreement between coach and the person being coached. This agreement creates the safe “container” for the coaching process to work its magic and enables the session to go deeper faster.
The current Code of Ethics pulled March 1st, 2021 are below and the pdf can be found here.
Your reason and your passion are the rudder and the sails of your seafaring soul.
If either your sails or your rudder be broken, you can but toss and drift, or else be held at a standstill in mid-seas.
For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining; and passion, unattended, is a flame that burns to its own destruction.

What is Coaching?
“Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a coach can change your life, setting you on a path to greater personal and professional fulfillment.” - ICF
